Please help — Air Canada Business Class — B788 vs B789?

    Hello!

I’ve been looking forward to my flight in business class on Air Canada from YVR to LHR, but just noticed we’ve been downgauged from a B789 to a B788. Other than the smaller cabin, are there any differences in the hard or soft product in business class? I at first thought that the B788s have an older hard product, but that doesn’t seem to be the case, correct?

Thanks so much for your help!

    Best,
    Todd

Nope, it’s the same product on both aircraft.

Thanks, David. And thank goodness… my heart sank when I saw the downgauge.

With 10 less pax on the 788, you might even get more personalized service. Besides, not all aircraft swaps to a smaller aircraft are bad.

Thanks, totally agree. For some reason my memory was that the 788’s had older hard products, so I was initially sad. Very glad this isn’t the case. Thanks again!
