Parents Flying First/Kids in Biz

Parents Flying First/Kids in Biz

I’m planning a family trip to Vietnam in the spring. We are two adults and three kids aged 14, 11 and 7. We’ll be flying Korean Air from the US. My question is around splitting the class of service seating for the family. I’d like to have my wife and I in first with our three kids just behind us in business. Is this a problem? The kids have all flown international business class multiple times before and are very well behaved. Not sure if there’s a rule about this.

I’ll be using miles for most of the redemption but will probably pay for 1-2 of the biz class tickets.

    Thanks

Per the Korean Air website, children 12 and under traveling in a different cabin from their parents are considered unaccompanied minors and are subject to that fee. Looks like the fee is $100 USD each way.
