KLM Soft Product

KLM Soft Product

I am scheduled to fly KLM 787-9 from SFO with my wife and I am curious about the soft product KLM offers, mainly the bedding. Any insight would be useful.

Matthew at Live and Let’s Fly wrote a review for the exact flight a few months ago.

”In the lie-flat mode, the bed is 6’5”. A plush white pillow and single down blanket, very similar to what United used to have in BusinessFirst prior to Polaris, is the only bedding available. That does put KLM at a competitive disadvantage over some of its rivals, yet it did not bother me. The aircraft does feature air nozzles at each seat, though they were not necessary – the cabin never really warmed up.”

Thanks. I actually just read that review prior to posting, but then saw another review complaining about a flat, down pillow, so I wanted to check in to a “trusted community”.

I flew the 747 last fall and the only complaint I had was the small thin pillow. I didn’t mind the blanket. I loved the seat and the service. And I got a little house full of liquor when it was all over. The pillow wasn’t a deal breaker, but I remember thinking it wasn’t rather small and thin.
