Have you flown every seat AA offers?
Hey Ben!
I flew AA110 from ORD-FCO on 8/3 which was operated by a 777-200 retrofit (which I guess is pointless calling it a retrofit now that they all are). Amazingly, it was a completely different seat than some of the other 777-200 retrofits I’ve flown on. The tray was on a movable track, but couldn’t be stowed, it just slid closer to the tv and the seats had more of a curve to them. I was writing a post about it yesterday and it reminded me of when you wrote put out that piece of all the different seat manufactures AA has. I fly on American pretty often and although I’ve flown business on (almost) all of their aircrafts (and US air’s) It amazes me to still be finding new products. On the other hand, their business seats are all pretty similar. 787, 777-200, 777-300 are all slightly different, but also very similar. The only large difference is of course the flagship suites, and on that note, I’m very happy they’re all retrofitted now because I flew the old 777-300’s down to Argentina a few times and the tiny square tv and cigar lighter power supply really kills me. Anyways, my question to you is have you flown all the variations of American’s international business class (excluding the US Air fleet)?
Best regards,
Ethan Nemeth
