First class verus business on Emirates
Trying to book a one way with stopover using Alaska Miles on a combination of Emirates and Alaska. Itinerary SEZ – DXB Em706 -Oct, 13 / DB – SFO Em225 – Oct. 16 / SFO -SEA AL315 – October 16 / SFO -BNA – AL736 – October 17. The problem is I can get First class on the long trip from DXB to SFO but as soon as I add the stopover and originate in the Seychelles it takes away First class on the long trip and downgrades me to business. I will gladly pay the extra miles for the two tickets for first class on the 380. What gives? I phoned Alaska and they could not override it.
