EU Flight Delay Compensation

EU Flight Delay Compensation

  1. Anonymous Guest

Trip MXP-EWR on UA delayed from 1040 to 1610 and didn’t arrive at final location for 5+ hrs. Reason for delay was mechanical. Any tips and tricks with the EU Flight Delay Rules? Looking for the full €600 from Jnited.

Not very familiar with EU compensation but you should start out with a claim and go from there. There are companies who will do the paper pushing for you for a cut of the reimbursement but if you have a clear case might as well start yourself.

I think it’s been discussed here in the forum before but I cant seem to find it. Check here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regulation_261/2004 but I think you’re entitled to the 600EUR. I think you have to file with United.
