Etihad Business vs. Jetihad First

Etihad Business vs. Jetihad First

    Hey everyone,

Quick question for you guys – my wife and I are going to be flying Etihad in a few months, and on our particular route we have a choice between Business Class on Etihad or First on an Etihad configured Jet Airways 777.

I’ve read tons of conflicting reports about Jetihad and would love to get your take. Right now we’re booked into F on the Jet Airways flight, but I’m curious to get your take.

    Thanks!

The Jetihad F seat definitely has more real estate but the hard product itself is a little dated. On the flight I was on there was some surface peeling going on and a loose suite door that went back and forth by itself when we were flying.

The crew is definitely a mix of Etihad and Jet staff and from the reports I’ve seen service can be hit or miss. Food leans towards Indian cuisine too which may be a plus or minus for you.

If you are booked via AA miles though you’ll have to pay to get your miles difference back if you downgrade. I wouldn’t bother and the extra room might be nice if it is a long haul.
