Hi! I was thinking about flying from New York or Washington to India via Germany or Portugal. I was wondering if you would choose Lufthansa Business (JFK-FRA 772, FRA-MAA 343) and Korean Business (MAA-SIN 738, SIN-ICN 333, ICN-JFK 380) or BA Club World (JFK-LHR 744, LHR-BOM 772) and ANA Business/First (BOM-NRT Business 737-700ER, NRT-JFK First 77W). This is tricky for me: Lufthansa and Korean Business vs BA Club World and ANA Business (737-700ER, BOM-NRT) and ANA First (NRT-JFK). Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks! 🙂

I think your first option is so much better than 2nd.
    This is why I think.
JFK-FRA is A380 and is nice. They have a flat bed
FRA-MAA is 340 and All Biz on LH is refreshed to be flat bed. While not out of the world, it is still nice. If not, you can do EWR-FRA on the 747-8 which is a nice aircraft IMO. I like the upper deck on this one and I love Seat # 82K. Somehow 3/4 times I have been on this bird, I took 82K. Or you can do JFK-FRA on SQ which is a phenomenal product on their A380. I know I am changing your plans, but hey all are wonderful options.
Now, on your return except for the MAA-SIN everything else is Flat Bed. Korean doesn’t have the greatest food in Biz but their seat is great.

To spice things up, if you can handle you should consider Eva Air and ticket a route like this. MAA-SIN-TPE-JFK. You would love it.

I am not a huge fan of the BA Product, LHR transit, Insane surcharges and the BA service attitude. That said I would prefer to keep that off the shelf. I’ve never been on ANA. So I cannot comment.
If you don’t mind taking an AirIndia flight within India, you can consider transiting via DEL which opens up so many more options. While BOM is an option too, domestic transfer through BOM is more or less hell for me.

    Good Luck!!!

Well first thing that strike me is Koreans J product is 2-2-2 in both plane types.

They have an advantage over ANA on the first leg out of India

But across the Pacific ANA win

Is there a reason you want to connect through Europe? A stopover? Otherwise one of the ME3 would be the best to take for travel to India.
