Bidding on Air Canada Seats

Bidding on Air Canada Seats

  1. Anonymous Guest

We have “comfort” seating on Air Canada to Tel Aviv in March. I noticed they put Business and First Class seats up for “bid” prior to travel dates. Do you have any tip on how to get these seats.

The best way to get those seats through the bidding process is by bidding the most! You have to see what price is worth it for you, however. I one time bid a really low amount (just $20 more than the minimum) from YYZ-SFO to get business on the 787, and I got it! I think it all depends on the yield of the route. Use ExpertFlyer to see how many J (business class) seats usually are for sale on the route.
