    Hi all. I´m planning a trip to Las Vegas from Argentina in AA Business and am faced with two choices: fly via Dallas in the standard 2-3-2 777 config vs via Miami in the new 1-2-1 77W.

    Total time is one hour longer via Miami and the layover is probably longer too but I was told the new 77W is better, just the thought of having both aisle and window and more privacy sounds a lot better, and I guess since the config is new the seats should be better.

    I have one of my reservations in the 77W and the other one in the 2-3-2, do you think I should change the latter although it would mean boarding at 9am vs 2pm? Is the new layout better than the old one?

    [USER=1415]@Nacho777[/USER] — Welcome! The new configuration is better in every possible way, I would happily add an hour (or three) for that plane.

    I would definitely book the route with the new config. The old config is angle flat, no privacy, and not much storage space while the new config is fully flat, lots of privacy and way more storage space.

    We flew the old 2-3-2 777 in business once and although it is not bad, it is bad compared to the new 1-2-1 configuration. Alas, I am scheduled to do LHR-ORD later in the year in the old configuration… Can never get the new one 🙁

    Thanks, I also flew the old one a couple of times and it´s not bad at all (it´s heaven compared to economy), but the 77W reminds me of the AA 777 first class which I once did a 11 hour one way and it was great, I literally didn´t want to get off the plane!
    I hope I can find availability one of these days to make the change, thanks a lot!
