Uber will take 27.5% stake in Grab the largest ever of its kind in southeast asia. All the southeast asian customer’s account on Uber will be transferred to Grab, except payment information.

Hate to say there will be less competition. With Uber ceasing its operation the only remaining options here in Indonesia are Grab or Gojek which primarily focus on motorbike taxi services.
