Hello Lucky,

This more than a comment, are news from the new partnership between Iberia and Qatar Airways. From the original text in Spanish to my free translation:

We have achieved with Qatar Airways a new partnership in code share flights in the route Madrid-Doha, and farther than Madrid, in the destinations that Iberia has in Spain and Portugal.

Thanks to this partnership, the passengers will have more options of travel, and better connections when they travel with both airlines, both of them part of the Oneworld alliance.

This partnership will take effective for the flights from April, 3, 2017. The frequent flyers members from both airlines, Iberia Plus and Qatar Airways Privilege Club, will get benefited from this new partnership.

Iberia’s code will be incorporated to the two daily flights of Qatar between the two hubs of Iberia in Madrid and Qatar in the Hamad International Doha Airport, as the code from Qatar will be incorporated on Iberia’s flights between Madrid and the 28 destinations the airline has in Spain and Portugal.
Personally, I’m not an Iberia Plus or Qatar Airways Privilege Club member, but it seems to be a great deal for both airline frequent flyer members!
