A380 Combi

A380 Combi

  1. Michael Scalia Member

With the sudden surge in demand for converting passenger aircraft to cargo operations, I was wondering why none do so with an A380 (clearly largest cargo capacity). After some research turns out a full A380 cargo plane would be too heavy full of cargo. Why then, do no airlines use A380 like KLM did 747 Combi? Imagine 300+ passengers on upper deck, and the lower deck and cargo hold filled with cargo. Could this make sense for any airline?
