Virtuoso booking

Virtuoso booking

Hi , I’m curently planning a trip to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and I will book some nights with virtuoso rates.
But here is my question. With the virtuoso benefits you get more for your money if you change hotel after 1 night (for exemple when there is a 100$ credit benefit) .
I assume that we can’t check out and check in again in the same day (same hotel) ?
But is it allowed (when you travel with someone) to book the first night with my name and the second night with my friend’s name ?

You can make separate bookings with Virtuoso. Then email the hotel asking them to grant the same room for both the reservations. Usually they honor that because it is not a huge ask in my opinion. Worst case, you will check out and check in and then switch rooms. But you would get both days’ benefits. Make sure to use different names on both the reservations. I would use different cards to make it look clean.

Yes I can check out and check in again, that will take 10 minute and it’s not an issue if I can get both days benefits 🙂

I just want to make sure that is permited and that we will have both benefits.
    Did someone already tried ?

Personally I wouldn’t email the hotel in this case since the benefits are for a stay and the hotel may tell you that since all your reservations have been combined into one stay you only get the benefits once. I’d just check in and have your friend check in the next day. That way there should not be any confusion.
