Thomasm New MemberHi, i was trying to book the Hyatt hotel in Nice through Virtouso and upgrade using hyatt points, however was told this is not possible. I seem to remember reading on your blog (some time back) that you could apply diamond suite upgrades to Virtouso bookings, are you familiar if it should be possible to upgrade using points as well, or is the agent correct?

Thomasm, it’s a stupid technicality, but that is indeed correct. Hyatt points can’t be used to upgrade those bookings, but Diamond Suite Upgrades can be used.
