I was informed that Marriott rewards points are not credited for incidental credits that were made in The Ritz-Carlton hotels. Only room rate will be credited.
I haven’t heard of this, so would like to confirm.

    Thanks!

Marriott Rewards specifically states that you only earn points on your room rate at RC hotels. The same rules apply if you h ad credited the stay to RC Rewards – you earn only based on your room rate, not any incidentals.

But if you charge those incidentals to your room and pay with a Marriott/SPG/RC card you should still get the increased points-per-dollar rate at Marriott/SPG/RC properties.
