Monthly Rates – 5 star luxury hotels

Monthly Rates – 5 star luxury hotels

  1. Anonymous Guest

I’m interested in finding out what kind of deals one can get on monthly rates for rooms or suites (short term of 1 month to 3 months) at 5 star luxury hotels such as Ritz Carltons, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Peninsula, St Regis, and similar – in locations such as New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Ft. Lauderdale – as well as London, Paris, Rome, and Amsterdam. Anybody have experience doing this? Do you find the best way is to speak with the General Manager directly or do you have other recommendations?

You can search online at the hotel’s website for rates but it might be better to call the hotel directly to see if there is any special pricing available.

I dont believe loyalty programs award nights and/or points for stays longer than 30 days though, so keep that in mind if it’s something that will affect your decision.

I would definitely contact the hotel reservation department or the revenue manager to see what they can do for you. As @David W mentions, keep an eye on the max nights so that you are able to earn rewards. Just checking out and staying elsewhere for a night will reset your clock so you can do this every 25 days or so to make sure you are maxing out your earnings.
