Marriott’s “No Blackout Date” policy

Marriott’s “No Blackout Date” policy

Have you gotten any indication about what will happen post-merger about the different blackout policies? Marriott touts a “no blackout policy” while burying language in the fine print saying each hotel can limit the number of rooms available for redemption (essentially creating a blackout) while SPG has a very clear and favorable policy.

It’s way too early for detailed info like that, but we’ll update as soon as we get any info. Hard to tell what will happen, unfortunately.
