Marriott Status Challenge Enroll Error

Marriott Status Challenge Enroll Error

  1. Jun New Member

    Hello

I am following facebook for long time and always thankful to you guys.

Currently I am facing a very unsatisfied respond from Marriott Customer Service, actually very disappointed. Last year, I contacted for status challenge information but did not apply. This year, on Jan, I contacted Marriott to apply for a status challenge but being rejection due to I have applied last n failed to achieve. I asked please double check it again coz I did not apply . A few days later, I got a reply from customer service, it was said they made mistake but can not fix it or I can register a new account. But I have some records in my account n rewards as well, should I open a new account or any ideas?

    Thank you so much!

    Hi Jun,

Screenshots have not been attaching properly to the forum for some time now, unfortunately there is no easy fix, so we can’t see your attachment.

Either way, I think you’ll have to evaluate how much rewards you currently have with Marriott. Personally, if it’s more than 30,000 points (enough for a nice, free night), I wouldn’t make a new account and risk losing those. Elite status isn’t all that great with Marriott.
