Getting rid of hotel imposed “resort fees”

Getting rid of hotel imposed “resort fees”

This is in conjunction with Lucky’s latest post:
Ridiculous: InterContinental Los Angeles Adds $25 “Facility Fee”

I’d like to suggest that you, Lucky, get together with some of your equally influential blogger colleagues, and use a 3 prong strategy:
-> complain loudly and critically, both directly to the hotels and in blogs/magazines
-> encourage your readers to boycott the worst offenders.
-> submit letters to your congresswomen/men alerting them of dubious practices.

Granted any of us can do that, but you have something most of us don’t: a platform and a microphone. Happy to help in anyway possible.
