Downtown Zurich

Downtown Zurich

Looking for hotel recommendations in Downtown Zurich for one night. We will be flying in, arriving around 9pm, then flying home to SFO the following day at 1pm. We are flying F class on LX, so we will be able to get a great meal at the airport, so dinning is of no concern.

Most important to us is getting in a nice walk in the morning prior to heading to the airport. Where should we stay to maximize the local sights on this walk?

    By Lake Zurich?
    On the Limmat River?
    Niederdorf?
    City/Lindenhof?
    Seefeld?
    Enge?

I’d stay down by the lake. We stayed at the Park Hyatt for a couple of nights and found the whole area very walk-able. Keep in mind that the airport is quite a ways out from downtown and it’s not a direct route at all. If you don’t have big luggage then the trains are a possibility but if you’ll be in a cab or Uber it will take awhile.
