Aman Tokyo question

Aman Tokyo question

  1. Clem Diamond

    Hi guys,

I’m planning a trip in May to go around Japan, and I had decided to splurge and end my trip with 2 nights at Aman Tokyo (I’ve never stayed at an Aman Hotel before).
However, in one of the latest blog post published by Lucky about Aman Hotels, several people mentioned that Aman Tokyo was sub-par compared to the rest of Aman Hotels, some saying it’s not even worth the price.

I’m still planning on going, but now I’m wondering if I should stay there just one night instead of 2 (and save a ton of money, or even re-invest what I was planning to spend on an upgraded room).

Is there anyone here who already stayed at Aman Tokyo and who could weigh in? Is 1 night enough to enjoy the hotel? I should also mention that I’m booking through Amex FHR, so I should get 12pm check in and 4pm check out, which should nicely maximize time on the property.

And yes, this is all very first world problems :).
    Cheers,
    Clem
