I may have an overnight layover in February and would like some advice deciding on a hotel

Options
W London Leicester Square – 20k SPG points or £320
Andaz Liverpool St – 25k Hyatt award night or cash and points 12.5k+£99

I have SPG Gold and Hyatt Plat via credit cards. I already have 10k Hyatt points in my account and would transfer the needed points form Chase UR

[USER=29]@David W[/USER] – some of it depends on how cash-rich/points-rich you are. I think if it was me I’d either pay the 20K SPG points or do the Cash+Points at the Andaz. But then, I don’t like to pay for stays at all! 🙂

May I ask how long your layover is, and at what airport? The W is going to be about 30 minutes closer to Heathrow, with no tube changes, if that makes any difference…

[USER=7]@Tiffany[/USER] I’m flying in and out of LHR, getting in at 6:40AM and flying out the next day at 1PM. I’m probably going to do luggage storage at LHR (I think that’s a relatively inexpensive option, instead of lugging a ginormous bag on the tube) so I’ll only have a small carry on. I have a thing for metro systems and have zero problem with the Tube, connection or not
