Which FF program?

Which FF program?

    Hey Lucky,

I am planning to take advantage of Qatar Air travel festival offers, and book a trip from Cairo to Bankog. The trip is planned on First Class (A) from CAI to DOH, and Business Class (R) from DOH to BKK. The same applies for the return. This trip is RIDICULOUSLY cheap. Less than 600 euros! This is UNBELIEVABLE! It is very much worth flying from Cyprus, where I live, to Cairo in order to take advantage of the deal!

My question is, which is the best FFP to credit the points I will accumulate to? I am already a member in British Airways’ FFP, but I have found them to be extremely stingy for what matters… Would it be worth it signing up for Qatar’s FFP given that they award 3x the miles accumulated by taking advantage of the travel festival’ offers? I don’t use Qatar often, and I do not intend to, because my travels focus on Europe. What would you suggest?

    Kudos!
    Dom

Dom, this may be a good post to read: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2016/08/06/credit-airline-miles/. CAI is known as a good place to get cheap premium cabin fares but even so that seems like a great find. I’d credit to a program that you can build over time unless you can get enough miles with the travel you have planned to get an award ticket. Enjoy the trip!
