    Hi Lucky,

There are many many blogs out there but your blog…. Your blog is like a book you can never put away it’s so good. It’s been love at first sight for me. Maybe because finding blogs about this is rare..? I’m guessing there are not many blogs about airports/air travels/airlines/miles/Hotel points etc…? And that’s the key to success, or one of them. Writing about something rarer, being knowledgable about the topic and of course writing well. Anyway I ‘ve been stuck on your blog since I discovered it a couple of days ago researching the Frankfurt airport Sheraton & Hilton hotels. It just showed up on Google (I can’t remember if it was on the first page or second).

The reason I fell in love with your blog: well like you I’ve always been very inspired to say the least and fascinated by airports, airport hotels, airlines, miles etc… What you are explaining in About this blog is exactly what I feel when I travel; I too could spend all day people watching in an international airport. I’ve always thought it’s a magical place where you meet people that are about to travel across the planet and that you will probably never see again. When I’m in an airport my adventure travel spirit that was more alive in my 20s comes back up to the surface. That makes me think… There’s a movie with Tom Hanks that takes place entirely in an airport (I saw it a while ago). I love airports so much I considered working in them many many times when I was younger; I even went to a job fair 15 years ago at the Heathrow airport. Although I never did work in an airport it’s something I think about often even if it’s not very well paid. This fascination for this theme came back to life during a stay at the CDG Hilton hotel 10 years ago. I don’t travel nearly as much as I would like but I need to change that and your blog is inspiring me to do so ASAP.

I’ve thought for a long time that I should write. I love to write and screenwriting as well as blogging are two things I’m going to have to make time for starting now. Learning German is another goal ( I like the German culture and the German travel spirit — met many Germans in places no other tourists were) so learning this beautiful language is another must do for 2017. But to go back to blogging I’m also passionated about pet food; I have a few ideas as far as topics although air travel topics just like airports ignite in me something stronger, hard to describe, just pure bliss.

So thank you Lucky for this magnificent read. What a gem! What your blog did to me is like starting a car (a nice Subaru Outback ;D) that hasn’t been started in a long time. Your blog is the key!

    Cheers!

(PS: I didn’t mean to write a novel. I guess I just let go of the rough draft that was trapped inside).

    Marie
