Strictly on the hard product i would say UA as 1-2-1 seating beats LH 2-2-2 any time.

Soft product is a bit hard to say, UA has been stepping up it game lately. But not sure if they are up to LH levels yet.

Might come down to what route you are planning to fly. Direct verses connection, lounges etc.

Polaris First. UA’s improvements and the more spacious product compared to LH J give it the edge here. Of course if you were deciding between UA Polaris F and LH F, then definitely LH F.

First is almost always going to be better than business, and even in business class United has a better soft product than Lufthansa does, so UA F would definitely be my choice over LH J.
