Which Mile Program should I use?

Which Mile Program should I use?

    Hello,
I live in the United States but I am traveling around Europe for a month this summer. I haven’t done a lot of traveling so I have never had a frequent flyer account, but with all the flights I am taking, I thought it would be worth looking into. My flight to and from London is on Iberian, should I signed up for their Miles program? Or on their US partner American Airlines? Also I have five other flights around Europe booked for while I am there, but we were looking for the cheapest ticket and we were specific on arrival times, so our trips aren’t all on the same airline. We have two on Swiss, one on Alitalia, one on Eurowings and the one on British Airways. I know Iberian and British are partners so I can get those miles regardless of which program I signed up for (Iberian, British airways, American Airlines, exc.) but for the four other flights is it worth getting the airline miles for each different airline? Is there anyway to combined points from those 3 miles? Any advice would be appreciated!!

I think Eurowings and Swiss can both be credited to Miles & More but I doubt it’ll do any good.

AA is a good place to credit the BA/IB flights if you have other ways to obtain AA miles to boost the balance. For Alitalia, you could try Etihad, AirFrance, Korean or Delta but it probably wont matter unless you have other ways to obtain more miles.
