Which Japanese airline?

Which Japanese airline?

My family and I are considering going to Japan next year, most likely from Heathrow. Which do you consider to be the best Japanese airline in either Business or First, ideally with a direct flight? The main things I look for are entertainment systems, service and food quality. The main two airlines I am used to are Emirates and Etihad.

I don’t want to use BA/Virgin as I don’t rate them at all.

    Thanks!

Both JAL and ANA First class is pretty great all around though JAL F’s suite is slightly better. Windows are not blocked like they are on ANA’s

For business class, JAL’s Apex suites are definitely better than ANA’s offering.

So, JAL has an advantage but you cant really go wrong with either option.

For business class, I personally also find the service and food better on JAL than ANA. The difference is small though and both are great airlines.
