Which frequent flyer program to deposit AA miles?

Which frequent flyer program to deposit AA miles?

    Hi,

I’m a international student that does 2 transworld trips every year to go home for summer holiday and winter break. This is my 4th year and I already claimed a standard SQ business award ticket this summer for 115000 from RGN-SIN-JFK. My primary airline is SQ and secondary is CX since I usually travel JFK-SIN-RGN and BOS-HKG-RGN twice. I also travel within United States. I have like 25k CX Asia Miles and 8.5k AA miles. I’m traveling to US Virgin Islands on AA for Thanksgiving in First/Business and I’m not sure which program (CX or AA) to credit the miles. I want to claim a CX business/first ticket in 2018 and I’m looking to claim a AA transcon 1 way in May 2017. I’m also traveling to Alaska in March 2018 in First so I want some good advice on which program to credit those upcoming miles.

AS might be a good program to credit the paid AA and CX flights to since their program allows stopovers on awards and changes on awards if its more than 60 days before departure.

Might be best to check wheretocredit.com with your fare class to see earnings on a particular program before deciding
