Where to Credit QR ? AA or BA

Where to Credit QR ? AA or BA

    Hi,

Have an upcoming family trip in the next 2 weeks on Qatar Airways in Business class (R).

I currently have AA EXP status (Hyatt Freebie due to being Globalist)

The round trip distance total is roughly 25,000 miles. Im flying with 3 other family members and we are currently on a family account on BA.

Need some help on deciding. What do you guys think is best?

    A) I can have all of us credit to or family account on BA, which we could all pool the miles ~ 100K miles (we already have a stash of 100K+, we hardly use it even domestically)

    B) I can credit myself on AA and the rest to BA.

    C) I can credit all of us on AA. This would give the other 3 family members Platinum status (OWS) due to the requirements lowered, however, we wont be able to pool the miles, and they’ll each get roughly 25k pp, and ill get close to 46K. PLT isn’t what it use to be, and not sure if we will continue to fly AA, we usually fly AS domestically.

    D) leave blank and retro credit to AS in future???? is that even possible. This would be best, but I don’t think this will work.
