VS A340

VS A340

So I saw on a bunch of websites that Virgin Atlantic has retired all A340s

The thing is I’m booked to LHR from IAD (coronavirus permitting…) on May 22 and currently it’s on an A340-600. The 346 is scheduled on a bunch of dates on the route throughout the spring.

Anyone know what’s going on here?

Probably just hasn’t been updated to reflect your new aircraft yet. I’m on an American 767 to Europe in July and those are scheduled to be retired in May. I’d just wait and see!
