Virgin Atlantic CC
I planned a LHR trip from MIA for Oct 2020. I planned on trying VA so I got their cc to accumulate the 47500 miles for one way in Upper Class. One month later when the miles posted, I went to book it.
What I failed to realize was the ridiculous fee of 675USD ! Does anyone know how to use those miles without such exorbitant fees?
Try finding flights on Delta – though maybe not for this London trip. In addition to fuel surcharges, LHR has a passenger fee when departing LHR that’s based on the distance of your flight. So the surcharge for a London-Paris flight would be much less than one across the Atlantic. But you can use those miles on Virgin Australia too if you’re looking to head Down Under.
Welcome – here are two posts with some suggestions.
