VA Award Availabilty thru Virgin Atlantic

VA Award Availabilty thru Virgin Atlantic

I’m trying to book a ticket on Virgin America through Virgin Atlantic in the beginning of March. When I called yesterday they said that my outbound date wasn’t available but my inbound was. The CSR mentioned that sometimes they open more award seats at the first of the month.

Should I settle for a different outbound date or wait the few days to the beginning of Oct. to see if my first choice opens up?

Depends on how risk friendly you are. Other seats could disappear while you wait. I’m not familiar with Virgin Atlantic change policies. Can you book a date now and change if flights open?

Would your return date change based on your outbound date? If not, you could book the return leg to lock that one in.

Return date stays the same. Good point, I’ll look into locking that one in.
