How would I turn Citi Thank you points into a mileage ticket on Emirates or is it even possible.. Going middle of next month I would like to try their bus or 1st class from IAH..

SAY56 – Thank You Points do not transfer to Emirates directly. Theoretically you could transfer them to Qantas or Virgin America but Qantas typically has horrific redemption rates and TYPs transfer to Virgin America at a 2-to-1 ratio, so that’s a terrible deal too.
To use TYPs you’d need to buy a revenue ticket via the Citi portal and then you’d be able to apply TYPs against the cost of the ticket.
