Using Alaska Miles for Cathay Pacific

    Hi,

I read the rule about Cathay Pacific with allowed Stopover in HKG. I am wondering if it’s possible to book Cathay Pacific flight from JFK to YVR, however with stopover in HKG, making it JFK-HKG-YVR, and if so, will it charge fee of traveling from US to Canada or otherwise.

No, what you’re describing is a round-trip between North America and Asia, with an open-jaw between your origin and return cities.
