Use of Admiral’s Club…

Use of Admiral’s Club…

I am flying business class on American Airlines from JFK to Haneda (Tokyo) with one stop in LAX. I am arriving in Japan 2 1/2 hours before my husband’s flight arrives and hoped to be able to wait for him in the Admiral’s Club. I am eligible to use it based on fare class (also have an AAdvantage Platinum Select Visa card but don’t think that matters). I’ve been trying to get info on this but everything I read is focused on pre-flight. Can I use it after a flight?

Welcome @Diane Barry – I am assuming the AA club is airside, in which case you would not have access to it since you’ll need to go through immigration.

If someone else knows differently, please correct me.

Thanks MidSouth…that’s what I was afraid of. Not sure where I should go to wait for my husband since I’ll have to go through Customs and figure out if I can get back to some area of the airport without having to go through security. Seems all the “clubs” are post-security check. =(
