T.A. MemberIf you use UA miles to book J on LH, and then closer to departure F space opens up – can you call UA and upgrade with UA miles? You can do that on CX with AA miles, wonder if it works on LH with UA miles…

[USER=1241]@T.A.[/USER] Yes you can, unfortunately you have to pay change fees to UA unlike AA which will just take the extra miles.

I paid $150 per ticket last time when I had to do the change. I don’t think it’s changed but you should definitely double check.
