@Lucky – While I am very interested in reading the conclusion of your Garuda report, more realistic for me (and perhaps many others reading the blog) is to fly on the new United Polaris product. I know you were planning a trip on that on some point so that we could get a review, but in the meantime have you heard experiences or read review of it that you might be able to link to through the blog? Yours is basically the only airplane blog I read, and it would be great if you could select what you think are the best review of it as I think there is probably a pretty receptive audience.

    Thanks and very happy holidays,

    Django

It’s going to be a while before a real review of Poliaris comes out. UA just received the 77W with the Polaris seats yesterday and the first commercial flights arent until mid February on the SFO-EWR route. I believe those flights will still carry UA p.s. transcon service, not full Polaris service. That wont be available until the end of March where UA will be flying the aircraft on the SFO-HKG route.

Zach Honig over at The Points Guy has two reviews of the Polaris soft product if you wish to read about it.
