United No Baggage/Ticket Line

United No Baggage/Ticket Line

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi,
I’m completely perplexed on how United can justify their reasoning behind their “no baggage can’t checkin on line & must go to the ticket counter” policy. It doesn’t make any sense to me whatsoever. I saw you wrote an article about it a few years back, did they ever contact you to explain? I’ve been going back & forth with customer service for weeks now. I won’t stop until someone acknowledges my plea for an explanation. It makes absolutely no sense – I have no luggage but hey, make me go stand in the luggage line just to confirm it! Let’s make the checkin line longer with people who don’t even have luggage to check! Let’s stick it to the customer who’s spending the least money by inconveniencing them the most so they won’t buy our economy fares! Like I said – makes no sense.
