Ultimate Rewards to Hong Kong
I’d appreciate any advice… LAX-Singapore then Hong Kong-LAX. Business/1st at least going there. I have 200k UR points. I’ve been looking for other options besides the UR site, but don’t know what I might be missing. There seem to always be tricks or back-door approaches but I don’t know how to find them except to spend days on research. I wouldn’t mind paying someone to give me the options, if you can recommend someone.
Thanks!

What’s your home airport and where are you flying to? Maybe we can help here.

thanks for the offer; i am flexible, to avoid more points and to keep the flight under 12 hrs I can leave from the west coast. otherwise i able to fly from most airports on the east coast. Even Canada is OK………….have been searching flights from Vancouver, Toronto to Asia and N. Zealand. and even Hong Kong.
So are you just looking for flights to try out business class seats? I’m trying to understand the goal here.
thanks, i dont want to waste more of your time. I am looking for the best points to use for this trip and i can only go business class. i shall just continue searching each FF card until i find something for 80k thanks again
We’re happy to help, we just need enough details to be effective.
JAL or Cathay using Alaska miles is usually a great deal. Lifemiles are also pretty easy to come by and their award pricing is pretty great, compared to United and Aeroplan. The latter is also pretty decent, though depending on the airline, there may be significant fuel surcharges. Lastly, Delta SkyMiles to Asia on a partner airline are a good value.
Having flexible plans and being able to buy a separate positioning flight(s) is important
