    Would paying taxes on an award ticket count for triggering the Delta Platinum’s $100 credit in the first three months?

    I believe it would as it just shows as a Delta Air Lines transaction on your statement

    It does trigger the credit. I paid around $60 in taxes for an award ticket in January. I got the $100 statement credit a few days later.
