Traveling with two passports

Traveling with two passports

  1. Anonymous Guest

My mother is a dual citizen and soon I will be as well. What tips do you have for anyone traveling between two countries with two passports (the main thing being avoiding any issues with immigration when using the two passports between the two respective countries)?

  2. Donna Diamond

I have dual citizenship (USA/Italy) and I carry both passports but only use my USA passport for exit and entry through immigration points. I have Global Entry so it’s linked to my USA Passport. But even before there was Global Entry I was following this policy. I have never tested entering and exiting on separate passports but one could reasonably assume it would raise issues.
