Traveling to/from Alaska on Cit/Chase non-US partners
I live in Anchorage. Do any Chase/Citi airline transfer partners allow travel starting/ending in Anchorage on award tickets in international first or business class?
Look up each airline’s individual definition of regions, assuming their award chart is region based. For example, UA (a Chase transfer partner) considers Mainland US, Canada and Alaska to be in the same region so a ticket that starts/ends in Anchorage wouldnt be more expensive than one that starts/ends in the lower 48 & Canada.
For a program like BA Avios and Etihad (another Chase transfer partner and Citi transfer partner, respectively) their awards are distance based.
