    Hi Lucky & fellow readers,

I see that this topic has come across a couple of times but i just like to get to know what tool/mobile app all of you are using to manage all your itineraries on business/leisure travel.

For me personally, Google Calendar does not give the level of detail compared to the Tripit Pro or the trips planner from Kayak where its very easy to manage and show details on the go. (Also in countries where there is no full Google access).

Is there any handy mobile app with a good level of detail that you would recommend?

Thanks Tiffany, Google Calendar worked perfectly for me at first as well. But when traveling in China it really had accessibility issues without a VPN connection and posted problems when traveling through different time zones frequently. Also it seemed to automatically include reservations when i was booking for someone else.

Tripit works but when you forward a reservation (like a local car rental) that is not English it doesnt seem quite to be able to integrate it.

Right, I don’t let Google just add the flights in (too many reservations pass through my email), so I put every flight in, in the correct time zone, etc.

It’s super time-consuming, but makes me less crazy in the long run.

I still have a free TripIT subscription through the Arrival card but primarily use Kayak. I like the control it gives me as opposed to automatically adding things even though sometimes it means a little more legwork and manual addition.

I liked Kayak as well. Maybe it was just a problem on my phone/app version but i had trouble opening the APP once at the airport when i had no data connection and was looking for my reservation code.

Have a couple of trips coming up so good time to test them again 🙂
