Travel on Aer Lingus, where to credit?

Travel on Aer Lingus, where to credit?

  1. frank Member

    Hi,
I have booked fairly cheap roundtrip tickets from Europe (FRA) to the US on AerLingus in Economy for a family of four.
Any suggestions where to credit the miles in order to get ANY value out of them?
(As I don’t suspect us to travel on any OneWorld carrier regularly, the best option might be one where you can at least pool the miles earned by several family members, if there is such an option).

BA will let you pool family miles. I’d check wheretocredit.com. Plug in your fare class and see what will get you the most miles and compare that to which programs will be useful to you.

United won’t let you pool the miles but they are Star Alliance.

Alaska is also a partner. If you’re based on the west coast of US might be worth a look. Even if not, and you travel enough on any of their partners, they have some insane redemption sweet spots.
