in short, Chinese government has assigned CZ and MU to the new Beijing airport which is much further away from the city than PEK. CA stays at PEK. The interesting part is the decision sounds as if it is based on the alliance an airline is in. and it’s getting pretty dramatic on the Chinese interweb, especially among flyers.

Is the new airport even built? Wikipedia says construction started 12/2014 and I dont think the airport will be operation until at least 2018…
