    Hey OMAAT Team,

    I just received my Amex SPG Personal [I]and[/I] Business cards as per your expert advice. The 25,000+10,000 benefit is fantastic and I plan to convert them to Marriott Points (3x= 270,000).

    Q: [B]After that’s complete, can I then trade the Marriott points to United Miles?[/B]

    I tried to register my Marriott (and/or SPG) account on United via a partner sign up link but received a warning message that I would lose status or some other benefit or something. I got nervous and clicked back now can’t seem to find that offer.

    Appreciate any insight from anyone who has done this successfully.

    Yes, Marriott points convert to United at 1:1. There is also a air/hotel package that offers bonus points.

    I’m not use I understand your register question. What “partner sign up link”?

    Yes, not sure about the registration part. Any hotel point transfers should only happen on the hotel website, usually the UA website wouldn’t be involved at all.
