star alliance and sky team partners award ticket options

I’m looking to fly a bunch of family to Ireland for my wedding using miles. It’s a big undertaking and the only direct route is on united. I currently don’t have enough united miles for everyone but also have plenty of MR, SPG and TY points. Looking for the best options to fly partners on United from the US to Ireland.
Also looking at the best skyteam option to fly Delta in business. Found 6 seats available for the dates I need, and they are the low delta award which show up for partners to book.

hi @sound4848. You can transfer MR and TY to SQ and book UA. MR and SPG will also transfer to DL. Try using http://www.travelcodex.com/award-maximizer/ or http://www.milez.biz/en/index.php to look for prices.

Make sure to call the ticketing carrier and confirm space before transferring points!

Thank you, will look now. Would Korean be the best option to fly delta in your opinion in business?

I don’t know the rates off the top of my head but the sites I’ve listed should show you KE pricing. Keep in mind Korean restricts bookings to the account holder and specific family so that should be something to keep in mind.
