SPG Platinum Best Award Option

SPG Platinum Best Award Option

I need to decide as an SPG platinum if I should utilize the 10 suite nights, the one free night or the 10 nights credited to my account that would put me at the Ambassador Platinum Level. Is the Ambassador Level worth it? Do the Ambassador’s work to get you suite upgrades?

    Thanks for your opinion

It really depends on your travel patterns to determine whether you think an Ambassador worth it or not.

The idea of the program is that the Ambassador is your main point of contact with SPG so that any issues can be resolved with a single point of contact. I dont think they can get you suite upgrades outside the normal circumstances but I think they can try, as well as help out with any other requests or problems that you may have.

I recommend reading Lucky’s posts about it here:

You can also look thru his trip reports sections and check out reviews of SPG properties in the last year. There’s been a few instances where Lucky mentions his ambassador setup a personalized snack or something for his stay, which is always a nice touch.
