Depends on what you plan on redeeming them for, other opportunities to earn points, redemption horizon etc.

35% i would say is decent(better than no discount). They have 35% off sales quiet often in my opinion. In the past, we have seen targeted discounts of 35-50% off. If you have plans coming up and buying points will save you money, then I would do it. I wouldn’t buy the points right now if i have no plans on using them in the next say 6 months. Do note that you can only purchase 30k points per year per an account. However there are ways to merge points between different accounts though.
